Quick, Healthy, Simple Snack!

As someone who had been a firm believer that fruit is an absolute no no in deserts, it seems that I have finally found one that has changed my mind as well as the opinions of everyone else in my household.

 All you’l need for this simple recipe is a pear. That’s it. There are little things that can be added dependent on personal preference but as long as you have a pear and a bit of honey you’re good to go. Firstly, after washing, halving and removing the seeds from the pears, place them on a tray covered with cling film with the flat side facing upwards. From here you can choose you own preferred topping, our favorite had been a drizzle of honey with a generous sprinkle of cinnamon. But this can be something you choose to experiment with as brown sugar can also be used for an added crunch. Once you’ve chosen your toppings wrap them in cling film and allow them to bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees. We recommend enjoying them hot as this is when they taste best and if you are enjoying it as a desert, a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side tastes heavenly.
