The Best Brownie Recipe In the World

Yes, you probably realised by the title of this post that we’d be sharing with you our favourite brownie recipe in the world and it’s oh so simple! No raisins, nuts or anything else I dislike in a brownie just pure chocolaty, heavenly bliss.


Ingredients:

  • 70g Plain Flour
  • 375g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 200g Dark Chocolate
  • 250g Butter
  • tsp Baking Powder
  • tbsp Milk
  • 80g Cocoa Powder

 

This recipe is actually so easy, quick and simple and always has amazing results. So after washing your hands, preheating the oven to 180 degrees and greasing a large tin. Any shape to suit your preference, we usually use a square  one 20cm by 20cm. Weigh out all of your ingredients starting with the butter and chocolate so you can begin to melt these in a bowl over a pan over boiling water (bain marie if you want to be technical.) Whilst that is melting combine all your dry ingredients;flour, sugar, baking powder and cocoa powder. You can sieve the cocoa powder and flour if you feel the need to but i usually don’t and it works out fine. After the chocolate and butter has melted leave to cool for a bit then add to the dry ingredients bit by bit (or all at once, either works fine.) Once combined add the four eggs mixing after each addition, you know, if you want. Then add the milk. After combined pour into your greased tin, alternatively you could line it with baking parchment. Bake in the oven for 25 – 35 mins. Making sure not to overcook it as you want a soft an gooey center. Et voila! An amazingly perfect, decadent, gooey and moist chocolate brownie! We love to dust with a bit of icing sugar for an extra touch and pairing the warm brownie with vanilla ice cream. You can also make adaptions to this recipe to suit your preference eg;  adding currants, nuts, marshmallow, oreos.. Play around with it until you get your perfect brownie.
