Rimmel The Only 1 Lipsticks Review

New releases at the drugstore definitely have to our favourite, if you can tell by our most recent what’s new in the drugstore. But when it’s a new lipstick range, it’s even better.

Rimmel have come out with a new formula as well as new packaging. In sleek black casing with a band around it showing the color inside, it’s very different from their typical packaging though we do have to say we prefer the old one. There are 15 shades to choose from with gorgeous brights and lovely deep purples, the two we picked up were ‘naughty nude’ and ‘it’s a keeper’. These are both two of their more neutral tones but the colours range overall doesn’t carry many nude shade. As naughty nude is definitely not true to name. It is a lovely color but when applied translates into a brighter pink so it might be good to test it out first. The second shade,’It’s a keeper’ is a more purple mauve tone which is probably a better nude if that’s what you’re looking for. The formulation of these lipsticks is amazing. It is definitely one of our favourites. It goes on in an opaque layer and feels very moisturising and glossy when applied but once dried it has a satin almost matte finish.the staying power of these will definitely be hard to beat. Because of the finish they do last very well for around 5-6 hours whilst eating and drinking before needing a touch up. These officials are out in Superdrug from yesterday and are priced at £6.99.

If you’re in need of a new bright pink or a burgundy red this line has it all. If only the packaging was the same as the other Rimmel lipsticks we would’ve bought them all. But, I guess the formulation makes up for it,  Oh so wicked’ is on our list next. What about yours?
