You probably don’t want to to hear this but, it’s time to get ready to go back to school. We’re sorry. But to make your mornings easier when you go back we thought we’d share with you a simple makeup routine that can be done in 5 minutes flat, oh and did we mention it’s using all drugstore products?
Depending on your skin type and how comfortable you feel, some may choose to wear no makeup whilst others wear a bit more. As we both did suffer from acne quite badly we did feel very self conscious about looks so we used a foundation or BB cream. The one we recommend for school is the L’Oreal Anti Redness CC cream as it has a light to medium coverage and the green tint of it helps counteract redness. If you do want more coverage we recommend the collection lasting perfection concealer which has a very high coverage and does last all day, the only downside to this concealer is the small range of colors available. For application, we know not all school students have the biggest budget so our favorite drugstore brushes are the Wilko range, the stippling brush in particular is a great multi tasking brush as you can you use for foundation and blush and it’s priced at under a fiver. The blush we think is best is the Kiko Lip and Cheek tint as it can be used on both your lips and cheeks and gives a natural wash of color the tin packaging also makes it great to carry around on a day to day basis as there is no fear of it getting damaged. If you are someone who prefers a good bronzer or likes to warm up your complexion the NYC bronzer in sunny suits a lot of skin tones and also comes with a puff as well as having a mirror on the inside which will mean you don’t have to worry about touch ups making you late to lessons. Because let’s face it, who wants to be late to maths class (…maybe us).
