We love Barry M, they are probably one of our favourite drugstore brands out there as anyone would be able to tell from our endless supply of products from their range. But, instead of rambling on about everything we love today we thought we would keep it short and sweet and have just narrowed it down to our top 3.
First and foremost, their nail polishes. The Gelly Hi Shine and the Matte formulas tend to be our go to colours. The one I have chosen to show you is one that will feature in our summer staple nail polishes, its a Gelly Hi Shine in the shade ‘Blueberry’. You only need two coats to get an opaque shiny layer, the brushes are also quite dense which makes application very smooth. The formulation of these polishes are also really nice as they tend to last a while before chipping which is why they had to be featured in our top 3.
The next thing I am going to talk about is something you must have seen a hundred times but it really is amazing! It’s the Barry M Chisel Cheeks contouring palette. It includes three different shades in a compact little cardboard palette, a light highlighting shade, a bronzing shade and a contouring shade. The palette only comes in option so there are not any light or darker ranges but it is very wearable and blends in nicely despite the main ingredient being talc. The lid also has handy instructions which tells you how to use all three shades if you are a beginner in the daunting world of contouring. The color payoff is nice and both bronze shades are highly pigmented though the highlight shade is less pigmented it works very well for setting under the eyes. The only minor thing I dislike with this product is the packaging, after being used a few times the color stains around the sides which annoys me a bit as it can look really messy. Otherwise, this compact little product is so handy to take on the go as it has all three shades you would need for a Kim K look!
Last but not least is quite a recent release and it is the Matte Me Up lip crayon in the shade 3, Dress Rehearsal. This looks like such a gorgeous colour when swatched in stores so it went straight into our basket. Its a very creamy formula making it easy to apply but as with most matte lip products may leave you feeling slightly dry throughout the day, but nothing a bit of lip balm won’t solve. It lasts about 3-4 hours until the need is felt to re apply to enhance the shade. The only downfall to this is as it is very creamy it goes down quite quickly but the colour range is gorgeous fro summer so expect a few more to sneak into a haul post soon.
That’s all for now hope you enjoyed this post, did you see any of your favourites up here? Is there anything you like that we missed? Let us know if you would like this post for any other brand.Have a great day!
