We are now nearly halfway through the year! it’s coming to the summer time, well at least it’s meant to be here in London but we thought it would be best to share what products we love using coming into the supposedly warmer months. My sister and I both have our own favourites this month and curls has decided to share hers with you guys first.
So, over the month of May I have been loving these three products in particular. The first I want to tell you guys about is the John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum. As a girl with extremely long curly hair that has a tendency to go frizzy I have been desperately on the hunt to look for something to tame the wild mess on my head and this has been my go to. It has quite an oily texture and not a lot is needed so it is quite long lasting i would not recommend it for oily hair as it may just make it look shiny but as curly hair types tend to be dry this is your best bet. Moving on to face products I have been opting for a lighter base and lighter makeup choices for the warmer months so the benetint has won me over. I bought it when at duty free impulsively but do not regret it whatsoever. It is very pigmented the color is buildable it is long lasting and feels very light with a watery texture on the skin. To apply my base this past month I have been using the Real Techniques Sculpting Brush everyday. Yes, i know it is called the sculpting brush so really it should be used to contour but being the little daredevil I am I use it for foundation. I know, I’m a rebel. It is quick, easy and creates an even flawless base to prepare me for the day ahead.
Now it’s time for the more interesting favs, mine! This month I have firstly been enjoying the Whoosh shower jelly. For those of you who do not know much about shower jellys, they basically have a jelly consistency, as the name suggests, and lather up very nicely in the shower just like a shower gel would. It has a perky, uplifting smell ideal for washing away all the exam stress blues. (Good luck to all of you still doing exams!) My second favorite is a moisturizer by Garnier. I like this moisturizer as it is light, does not feel greasy on my skin and has SPF 20 good for those sunnier days in May. My last favorite has been much loved by me this month (as you can see by the picture) is a pressed powder foundation my Rimmel London. I love this powder! (clearly!) It is easy to wear, has a slight coverage and keeps my make up in place. It claims to last 25 hours but I think it lasts about 6 hours before i feel the urge to re-powder as I become quite dewy throughout the day.
So those are our favorites of the month what are yours? If there are any products you would like a more in depth review on then please let us know! Thank you all for reading, I hope you have a lovely day!
